We are a family of four from Germany and we stayed here for a couple of nights. The house is super comfortable, spacious, airy and everything about it feels right. From the very friendly greeting from the caretaker to the well picked tea sortiments in the pantry, you feel pampered and welcomed to HHouse Penarik.
A dip in the pool in the morning was a perfect setup before starting the day and the few steps away to a remote beach topped it up for a perfect beach holiday.

Beautiful house. We had a lovely time in a very comfortable home. But be aware of the sleeping quarters as it is only one big room. Not a problem for our family of 5 though. I think that's the comfortable max it will fit. Love the lap pool instead of some small shallow kiddy pool. My only grouse is for a place with a huge outside area(balcony, poolside, dining area) we couldn't enjoy it after maghrib. It's like the invasion of the mosquitos. Scary. Even the zapper was working fulltime. I'm guessing it's related to the ongoing dredging of the river estuary behind the property. Hope we can visit again after the river project is done. The person recommended for arranging our meals and activities(to the island) too makes our trip relaxing

We were welcomed by the amazing night lighting from HHouse when we arrived Penarik late evening. Such wide open space in front of house that’s very inviting to city-life
rangers. House caretaker kindly briefed us around the house and settled us in despite us arriving late. I personally love the Scandinavian touch in the house design; 1 king and 2 sofa beds with traditional batik touch gave a cosy pampered sleep for 2 seniors, 2 adults and 2 kiddos; Kids had fun figuring out the Wooden 2-door system for both toilets; ready kitchen amenities for simple relaxing breakfast by the sea breeze.
Caretaker helped buy local breakfast one day before we headed out to Redang. Proximity to both sandbeach and wetland by foot is a plus. Family enjoyed the amazing sunrise every morning (viewable frm the house too if 1min walk to beach is too far), and exposure to marine life (crabs, starfish, hermit crabs, you name it!). Memorable traditional urut at the balcony so close to nature! Tq host for the service!

We had wonderful family trip with 3 nights stay. The house is well equipped, clean and cozy.
We like the design and felt like home. Location is strategic as just opposite the beach which we could setup tent there.
Near to restaurants and easily get nice local food, there is even restaurant at beachside.
The house is spacious with front and backyard, we played drone to capture the entire scene from the sky, really amazing.
This place is very close to jeti, we had full day snorkelling trip as well.
Will definitely come again!

The perfect peaceful getaway. Tastefully decorated and well kept home….. and clean!!Beautiful surrounding scenery. Just minutes drive away from the local stalls, restaurants, and the jetty to Pulau Redang

I had an absolutely amazing stay at HHouse Penarik. Waking up to the gorgeous sunrise view right in front of the house was such a beautiful way to start the day. With the soft sea breeze and the sound of waves in the background, the whole place just felt incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
The beach is literally steps away, clean, quiet, and breathtaking. Perfect for a morning stroll or just sitting and soaking in the calmness of nature.
The housekeeper was super friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The owner was just as wonderful, very responsive and helpful whenever we had any questions, which made the whole experience even better.
One bonus: there’s even a swimming pool, which was great for a quick dip after spending time at the beach.
If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind, surrounded by nature and far from the noise of the city, this is it. Highly recommended for anyone needing a peaceful retreat.
Note: Only one small wish.It would’ve been lovely if they had bicycles to ride around in the afternoon!
Stayed here for 2 nites from 30/8-1/9/23 with my 4 kids. We had a superwonderful time here. This place has an awesome 360 degrees view of the surrounding. We woke up to the beautiful sunrise at this seafrontage house & viewed the sunsetting in the mountains with the river on the foreground.
This house is just nice for a family of 5 to 6 pax. It’s beautifully decorated as well.
You can cook in the kitchen downstairs, but we prefer to savour the delicious Terengganu dishes at the nearby eateries… nasi dagang, pulut ikan bakar, ICT etc…
There’s plentiful of activities. You can swim in the sea or dip in the swimming pool. You can visit Wetland School & Rumah Botol. Take a boat ride or simply walk around the kampung.
Will I return again. Yes, of course.
